ManCrush: Leo Rex
We’re big fans of London boy Leo Rex. He’s sexy, he’s funny, and he’s real.
The origin story
“I’d been watching porn for about a decade, so I thought I’d give something back!” explains Leo, when we ask him how he got started in the adult entertainment industry.
“I love performing, and the pay is so sassy. Also, sex is so fun and liberating, it’s exciting and wild – it’s just all-round woo! Why isn’t everybody doing porn?”
The thrill of being on stage
“I’m all about that life – I’m one million percent an exhibitionist…” confirms Leo.
“I love live shows – you have an audience, and I love the interaction with the people. It’s just so showy! It can be theatrical, and artsy, I love how expressive it all can be. There’s music, a different atmosphere, and I love how people get turned on, because that makes me so horny!”
“I never trained formally, but I really wanted to be a dancer…” says Leo, when we talk about some of the moves he’s able to pull while performing.
“A few years ago, I booked a one-way flight to Ibiza, and blagged my way to getting some sick dance jobs in some of the super-clubs.”
“I started practising contortion, and training myself. But the reason that I can now get into the splits so easily is because I ripped my hamstring during an audition. I was crippled for a few weeks, but it was totally worth it because now my right leg is super-flexible.”
“I definitely prefer to bottom in real-life – I’m generally so much more attracted to guys with top vibes. But I still prefer to top for porn and escorting – I find it easier. Basically, I just cant be assed to spend 40 minutes douching when I could just stick it in and bish bash bosh, have a good nosh!”
The business of porn
“The main challenge is that with a fan-page, you’re not just the model who gets paid – you’re the model, the scene organiser, the marketer, and everything else on the business side of things…” explains Leo, when we talk about needing to be an entrepreneur to be successful in this industry.
“Plus, you have to build it up. which I find so boring!”
“I have a lot of great content, but if something bores me, my mind is gone – I can’t even process the mundane-ness. Unfortunately, constantly promoting your fan-page and marketing it on social media is a major factor – that definitely takes a toll.”
“I usually just wear regular Primark briefs…” says Leo, when our conversation inevitably turns to underwear. “I’ve got some other pairs that I’ve picked up along the way, I don’t know whose, but they’re nice.”
“I’m more of a fling my pants away and go cliff-jumping kind of guy – spending money on underwear seems so pointless.”
