Turning up the heat in Cologne

One of the best times to visit Cologne is during the city’s Carnival celebrations.

Cologne is a pretty queer city at the best of times, but Carnival attracts a huge number of guys from across Europe.
From a queer party perspective, the highlight will be the Invictus party – presented by seasoned promoters SEXY Party.
Around 2,000 guys will be getting together for the Invictus celebrations of Cologne Carnival – with music provided by a team of DJs that includes Chris Bekker, Francesco Pagano, and Moussa Barcelona.
The festival kicks off on Friday with The Welcome Party at Exile, in the heart of Cologne’s legendary gay district, Schaafenstraße.
Invictus will be taking over the club Bootshaus on the Saturday. Headliners at Invictus include Tommer Mizrahi of Forever Tel Aviv, as well as Asaf Dolev, Alexio, and D’Alessandro.
Invictus kicks off at 11 pm. As well as dancing, there will also be two floor shows. The big opening show, at 1 AM, will lead into DJ Tommer’s set. The second show, at 3 AM, stars drag queen and dancer Loulou Blue.
There will be a Techno Room for Techno lovers – with beats provided by Ben Manson and Rony Goldin. There will also be an electro-pop room, which will feature live acts as well as DJCK vs. U-GO-BOY beats and energy.
If you want to take a break from the dance-floor and have some fun, MGW Cologne have designed a labyrinth play room with plenty of dark corners where you can explore your passions.
