Women we love: JoJo – new music and a new determination
Given that she feels like a veteran of the music industry, it’s hard to believe that JoJo is only 28.
It was at the age of 13 that JoJo had her first hit – Leave (Get Out), which was released in 2004.
Last year, JoJo re-recorded and re-released her first two albums – JoJo, and The High Road – under her own label Clover Music. This came after years of legal battles with her former label that had prevented the albums from existing on digital platforms.
Now in control of her past and her career, JoJo is looking to the future with new music.
After the raw honesty of Joanna, the latest single from JoJo is Sabotage – featuring CHIKA. Sabotage reflects on relationships, and how we can sometimes be our own worst enemy.
A new album from JoJo is scheduled for release in Spring 2020, produced by Warner Records and Clover Music.
