Celebrity Crush: Jeremy Allen White
We know talent when we see it.
After establishing himself as a major star with his work on The Bear, the latest project announced from Jeremy Allen White sees him going gay-for-pay.
Jeremy will be starring in a Netflix production - an adaptation of Enigma Variations, a novel by André Aciman who also wrote Call Me By Your Name.
Billed as a bisexual romance drama, the limited series will be directed by Oliver Hermanus whose work we've recently enjoyed on the absolute dick-fest that was Mary & George starring Nicholas Galitzine.
It's worth noting that also in the pipeline from Oliver Hermanus is The History of Sound which is a historical queer drama starring Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor.
Enigma Variations gives us the story of Paul, who brings an adolescent obsessiveness to his adult sexual encounters. Set in Italy and New England, Paul seeks out anonymous encounters with men as a counterpoint to his romantic obsessions.
We are seated and ready to watch.
