Midnight Cowboy: The musical?
A stage adaptation of the original novel brings us a fresh perspective on the classic story of Joe and Ratso.
Premiering in London in April, a musical adaptation of James Leo Herlihy's novel is coming to the stage.
Midnight Cowboy gives us the story of Joe and Ratso - brought to life in the film by Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman.
With a book by Bryony Lavery and a score by Francis "Eg" White, the role of Joe will be played by Paul Jacob French while Ratso will be played by Max Bowden. The production is directed by Nick Winston.
Midnight Cowboy will run from 4 April until 17 May at Southwark Playhouse Elephant in London.
