Who is Sebastian Stan?
Born in Romania, as a young teen Sebastian and his mother moved to the US.
He was a theatre kid at school and went on to study acting, graduating from Rutgers in 2005.
Sebastian was cast in The Covenant (2006) and then landed a role on Gossip Girl (2007) and began steadily building his career from there.
It was his 2011 role as Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that really established Sebastian as a household name and a major star.
The good news? Bucky Barnes is going to be back on our screens in 2025, Thunderbolts is the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Sebastian will be rocking the spandex as part of the ensemble cast.
Is Sebastian Stan gay?
We don't really have any definitive statements from Sebastian Stan in relation to his sexuality. He's been romantically linked with a number of actresses over the years, so there's that.
However, the relationship between Bucky Barnes and Captain America has fuelled a huge raft of fan-fiction that leans into the potential for sexual tension between those two characters. We love to see it!
