What's on in London: Cabaret at Certain Blacks

Certain Blacks returns to London's Rich Mix for their 10th anniversary annual indoor festival.

The 2025 edition is of the festival is Afro Futures - reflecting on the multiple ways diverse culture has contributed to British identity and what it means to be British today. 

Dance, theatre, cabaret, music, and spoken word are all featured in the Afro Futures programme.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the collaboration between The Brownie Club and The Cocoa Butter Club - a fusion of late-night cabaret that showcases performers of colour.

Taking place on Friday, 7 March, the event will be hosted by Bolly-Illusion from The Brownie Club and Sadie Sinner the Songbird from The Cocoa Butter Club. Details of all of the performers appearing are yet to be announced.
