What's on in London: Small Town Boys
Exploring the power of your first love.

Written and directed by Tim McArthur, Small Town Boys gives us the story of two men - strangers - who cross paths and realise that when they were teenagers, they both dated the same boy.
Based on a true story, the play explores how people perceive their first loves and how we put them on a pedestal.
The play stars Nathan Taylor, Stuart Simmons, and Dominic Charman.
Historical context frames this story - the characters both came out early in their
teenage years in the same area of England - the town of Middlesborough in North Yorkshire. One of the themes is the impact that Section 28 had on their upbringings as gay men from a homophobic area of the UK.
Small Town Boys is on at the Union Theatre in London from 10 September until 5 October
