Representing France, 21-year-old Anthony Ammirati didn't make it past the qualification round of the men's pole vault competition at the Paris Olympics, but he's ensured that he's going to be one of the athletes most remembered from these games.
His claim to fame? The slow-motion footage of his lycra-clad penis knocking the bar as he tried to clear a 5.7m bar.
Obviously, not great for Ammirati to be unable to deliver the kind of performance that he was hoping for - he would have been crushed that he wasn't able to progress to the finals in the pole vault competition.
