Celebrity Crush: Russell Tovey

The latest project that Russell Tovey is tackling is Plainclothes.

Set in 1997, Plainclothes is a gay romance that seems to draw on the 1980 Al Pacino classic, Cruising but was probably inspired by the arrest of George Michael for cruising for sex in a public toilet.

Plainclothes is the first film from Carmen Emmi. Tovey's character is Andrew. It also stars Tom Blyth as Lucas.

In the story, Lucas is a young policeman who's assigned to go undercover and honeytrap gay men cruising for sex. However Lucas is struggling with his sexuality and unexpectedly falls for Andrew, one of the targets of his honeytrap assignment.
