The Italian filmmaker Ferzan Özpetek has delivered a number of queer cinema hits over the course of his illustrious career, but none of them hit quite as hard as his latest, Nuovo Olimpo. This movie features hairy Italian men with big uncut cocks doing what men do best – each other.

What evolves into a sad tale of lost love starts with a sexy romance between star-crossed lovers. Enea (Damiano Gavino) and Pietro (Andrea Di Luigi) are two twenty-five-year-old men who fall head over heels in lust for each other in 70s Italy. Enea is a carefree film student who frequents the gay Nuovo Olimpo theater – a place where men go to hookup – while Pietro is a more uptight and closeted medical student.

They have an explosive first meeting, but soon go their separate ways and spend the next thirty years of their lives pining for each other from afar. Both men enter into new relationships, but can never shake their love.
